Our New Forum is Online

It may seem that things have slowed down here at DEVONtechnologies recently. Quite the contrary. There’s a lot going on now behind the curtains.

Yesterday we’ve switched our user forum from phpBB with a dated look-and-feel to shiny new Discourse. It’s a lean, modern discussion forum with everything you rightfully expect in 2019. From notifications to Markdown, everything’s there. We have also converted and imported the existing posts and users all the way back to 2004 when we once started our community (first on YaBB, later moved to phpBB).

Of course we running Discourse on our own server with no third-party scripts active that could track you. We have connected Matomo (formely named Piwik) to it but that’s also our own installation and does not track you beyond our domains. We encourage you to block its tracking code with, e.g., Ghostery and we’re honored if you leave it enabled for our websites.
