We are developing apps that tame the information flood. We all are Mac users by heart and are writing solely on the Mac and for macOS and iOS.
Nerdy by Nature
Eric Böhnisch-Volkmann, our president, works with chief developer Christian Grunenberg (our mastermind since the Atari ST days) and Alan Edwards (who lives in Devon, UK, because one of us has to) on our apps.
Our guardian angels are Heike Volkmann, who tracks down lost licenses like Sherlock himself, and Jim Neumann, born helper in times of need. Bonne Giese takes care of comms and accounting. Even the IRS loves her.
And if you read something clever on our blog, it might be from Aaron P. Volkmann, our student assistant who works from home and so unfortunately can’t make us coffee.

Yes, We Do Love Science
Devonian (after Devon County, England), the geologic period from 410 to 360 million years ago. Also called the Reptile Age or Age of Fishes. First amphibians appeared on the land, that until then was only inhabited by trees and other plants — it was the departure into a new age.
We’ve named the technology on which our apps are based after the Devonian as for us it marked the departure into a new age too. It allows us to manage huge numbers of documents. It analyzes them, compares them, and finds relationships between them in an instant. It’s scalable and language-independent.
