In der Version 2.11.3 haben wir die Markdown- und MultiMarkdown-Unterstützung verbessert, einschließlich CriticMarkup. Wir haben automatische Rechtschreibkorrekturen für HTML-basierte Dokumente hinzugefügt und die Erkennung von WikiLinks um das bis zu 70fache beschleunigt. (mehr)

Website im neuen Gewand

Wir geben’s ja zu: unsere Website fing an, ein wenig verstaubt zu wirken. Als wir sie online gebracht haben, war mit „Responsive Web Design“ vielleicht gerade noch gemeint, automatisch die Sprache für den Benutzer zu wählen. Jetzt ist es 2019, wir lesen im Netz vor allem von unseren Mobiltelefonen, und wir haben uns an eine gänzlich andere Gestaltung gewöhnt. (mehr)

Give DEVONthink Full Disk Access

DEVONtechnologies’ applications can interact with your system and other applications to create a interconnected computing experience. In Apple’s parlance, “It just works”. Or should I say, “It just worked”? To increase security in macOS Mojave, Apple has decided people need to give more permission to applications that want to access certain kinds of data on your machine. As of this writing, the protected areas are: Mail, Messages, Safari, Home, and Time Machine. (mehr)

DEVONagent 3.11.1 and DEVONsphere 1.9.3

Just that we let DEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.11.2 out this Tuesday, maintenance releases for DEVONagent and DEVONsphere have hit the street.

The updates fix a sporadic crash when accessing the Preferences panel as well as some visual artifacts. In DEVONagent Pro and Express 3.11.1 we’ve also added support for JSON news feeds, and improved RSS feed handling in general. DEVONsphere 1.9.3 gets support for the Open Packing Format (.opf) and better indexes packages likes RTFD documents. We’ve also made it detect the current web page in the Vivaldi and Brave web browsers in See Also. (mehr)

DEVONthink & DEVONnote 2.11.2

Today’s update for DEVONthink and DEVONnote is all about improving the overall reliability. It fixes a sporadic crash when accessing the Preferences pane on macOS Mojave, issues with Brother and Epson scanners, and a problem with DEVONnote reporting RTFD documents as missing. (mehr)

DEVONthink To Go 2.7.1

Today DEVONthink To Go 2.7.1 has become available on the iOS App Store.

The maintenance release comes with an updated PDF library which fixes a crash during indexing PDF documents. Version 2.7.1 also deletes temporary files used for synchronizing with iCloud as soon as a file is fully uploaded. Direct connections prefer IPv6 now if both IPv4 and IPv6 are available. Finally, the update improves the overall robustness of the app. (mehr)

One great feature of macOS is virtual desktops that Apple refers to as Spaces. Especially useful on laptops with their limited screen space, these allow you to have multiple screens to organize your applications. Check out System Preferences > Mission Control for options. (mehr)
