Today we have released version 2.0.4 of all editions of DEVONthink as well as of DEVONnote. The new releases of DEVONthink and DEVONnote have been prepared to work with the upcoming DEVONthink To Go for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch as well as with DEVONagent 2.5. In addition they come with many more minor improvements and bug fixes.
We have just updated the Clip to DEVONthink Safari extension and bookmarklet to version 1.1. The new version fixes a number of bugs, e.g. adding parts of the bookmarklet code when printing a web page as well as a bug preventing log-ins to password-protected web sites. If Safari does not offer you the update, please visit the Download Extras page and download the latest version. The bookmarklet is always loaded ‘live’ and so up-to-date when you use it the next time. (more)
Today we have released version 2.0.3 of all editions of DEVONthink as well as of DEVONnote. We have added a number of enhancement such as support for drag-and-drop of multiple email messages from Apple Mail or easier to use folder action scripts, and fixed quite a few bugs and glitches. Definitely an update not to miss!
We have just silently updated DEVONthink Pro Office to version 2.0.1. Version 2.0 as released yesterday did not correctly unlock the OCR and email archiving functionality after entering the license code. If you have experienced this problem please download the new version from our download page or use DEVONthink Pro Office’s built-in update function. For all other editions of DEVONthink as well as DEVONnote no update is necessary.
Today we have released public beta 8 of DEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.0. We have polished the user interface, made the installation dead-simple, added new smart templates and revised the older ones, reinvented the columns view, and — finally — added smart tagging.
As promised lately, here’s the first update for DEVONthink and DEVONnote that addresses the compatibility issued with Mac OS X 10.6 ‘Snow Leopard’. Even more, this seventh public beta also adds tons of features some which had been promised for a while, namely PDF annotations, image editing, smart templates, ‘take note’ integration into the Sorter, and support for third-party meta data. (more)
Right in time we have released another round of public betas of DEVONthink and DEVONnote. New functions include simple PDF annotations (more to come soon!), an enhanced web interface for DEVONthink Pro Office, a rewritten Dashboard widget, a new Take Note hot key, and much, much more …
EasyFind 4.5 as released yesterday had problems running on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. We fixed the problem by removing the new toolbar when EasyFind is started on Mac OS X 10.4. If you have this problem, please simply re-download EasyFind from our download page and replace your copy with the silently updated one.
Just a quick note that we have just updated our freeware apps EasyFind and XMenu. Personally I like especially XMenu’s new Snippets menu that allows me to store text snippets and URLs and quickly insert them into a new email message or any other text I am writing.
Just a quick note that we have just released DEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.0 public beta 5 with new features, e.g. a new iPhone web application, many improvements (also under the hood), and bug fixes.
